The Linder Sport Bra

The Linder Sport Bra is the second generation of bras created by Dr. Linder,Beverly Hills Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.  The Linder Sport trademark is one of the most comfortable and form-fitting athletic sports bras made.  This bra has a stronger spandex support which allows for more firmness of the breast allowing women the ability to do more strenuous exercises, including running marathons.

The entire front is enclosed and there is no zipper or clip component to the Linder Sport Bra.  The waistline of the bra also has a thicker and longer vertical length with padding in order to allow for more support for strenuous activities and exercising.
Decreasing the cotton and increasing the spandex and nylon component of the inner lining increases the support necessary for rigorous activities, including aerobic, anaerobic, kick boxing and marathon running.

ULTIMATE COMFORT BRA

Dr.Linder, an internationally recognized Board Certified Beverly Hills Plastic
Surgeon has developed the Dr. Linder Bra for women worldwide.  It is the ultimate comfort bra with its 95% cotton, 5% spandex material with bi-directional stretch fabric, allows women during their monthly cycle to expand and reduce swelling with compression by the triple adjustable straps on the sides.

The fabric is also non-irritating, has been used on literally hundreds and hundreds
of breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reconstruction patients without any
form of contact dermatitis or irritation along the incision sites.  The comfort of the bra is associated with the softness as well as the compressibility of the material.  The Dr. Linder Bra was created after Dr. Linder has performed and placed over 10,000 breast implants in patients worldwide.

Patients should wear the comfortable sleep bra throughout the night in order to maintain the shape of their breasts with or without implants. The Dr. Linder Bra is excellent as a beauty bra, pregnancy, training and post-surgical.  The comfort of this bra was of utmost concern for Dr. Linder when he developed and created this clothing line for patients/women worldwide.

SIZING OF BRAS

The Dr. Linder Bra at this time comes in sizes of extra small to XXL.  It is important to understand that one of the theories behind Dr. Linder, Board Certified Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon’s brassiere is to specifically set a woman’s chest diameter rather than cup size.  This allows for a more perfect fit, compressing and allowing comfort for the breast.  In general, petite women with 30 to 32 cm chest diameters will fit into an extra small bra.  Thirty-two to 34 usually fit a small, while 34 to 36 will fit the medium.

Having placed the Dr. Linder Bra on hundreds and hundreds of his past patients, we have found that in general women worldwide may want to consider a slightly smaller bra than they may find with other sports bras with the use of the Dr. Linder Bra because it allows for a more perfect fit.  In other words, women who wear a medium in a different manufacturer may want to consider a small because it is expandable by 1-1/2 to 2 inches on the lateral or waistband of the bra and there is excellent stretch of the material that allows for excellent compression.

Downsizing one cup size with the Dr. Linder Bra usually allows for excellent support and allows for the compression needed to prevent gravitational descent and skin laxity which may require surgical lifting down the road.  Dr. Linder recommends all of his patients with or without implants as well as those who have had breast lifts, reductions and reconstruction, wear a supportive brassiere at night during sleep in order to maintain the shape of the breast and reduce laxity of the skin.

POST-SURGICAL BRA

Dr. Linder has been using his patented trademark Dr. Linder Bra on patients over the last two years.  Hundreds and hundreds of patients have worn the Dr. Linder Bra post-surgically.

He has used them for patients post breast augmentation, breast revision, breast reconstruction, breast lift and breast reduction surgery.  The patients’ Bias dressings are removed on Postop Day One the patients are placed in the Dr.Linder Bras which fit perfectly to their chest diameter from extra small to double extra large.  The double clip and zipper mechanism in the front allows for easy placement of the bra.

There is no struggling and it is hassle-free.  The bidirectional stretch fabric allows for compression and reduction of swelling and edema over the next four to six weeks.  The adjustable straps on the side allow the bra to be taken in over the next three weeks as swelling increases and then resolves.  The fabric is extraordinarily comfortable.  We have seen no evidence of contact dermatitis from any patients, including breast lifts and breast reduction patients who have multiple large incision sites with a cotton fabric interlining. Post-surgical bras should be compressive, but comfortable at the same time, allow for swelling and reduction of edema and be very supportive.  This is the number one reason that Dr. Linder, Beverly Hills breast specialist, created the Dr. Linder Bra.  Other indications include patients who are
pregnant, breast feeding and as a sleep and beauty bra at night to maintain the shape of the breast and prevent gravitational descent.  Finally, it has purpose as a sports bra and
training bra, especially with low impact aerobic and anaerobic exercise.

Comfort Bra

The next bra, Comfort Bra.  The Dr. Linder Bra is an extraordinarily
comfortable bra made of resilient 95% cotton, 5% spandex which allows for
comfort; however, it also allows for expandability of the breast during a
woman’s cycle.  It is very useful and comfortable for multiple purposes,
including post-surgical, pregnancy, sports and training and as a sleep bra
during the evening.  Dr. Linder, Beverly Hills Board Certified Plastic Surgeon,
instructs all his patients, with or without implants, to always wear a
supportive brassiere at night during sleep in order to reduce gravitational
descent of the breast.  The Dr. Linder Bra is an excellent bra for it
breathability bidirectional stretch fabric and comfort.  He has placed this in
over 1,000 of his patients worldwide, who have undergone breast augmentation,
breast revision, breast reconstruction, breast reduction and/or breast lift
surgeries.

Uniformly, they have enjoyed the function of the double clip, zipper
mechanism in the front as well as the adjustability of the straps on the side.
We have had no incidents of any form of contact dermatitis from any of the
incision sites over the last year.  Comfort is absolutely essential in patients’
postoperative care.  Support as well as comfort are the two major components of
the Dr. Linder Bra with it bidirectional stretch and its breathability and
softness of its material to allow the bra to be worn 24 hours a day for up to
six to eight weeks postoperatively.

Bra Compression

Bra Compression

One of the most important components in body sculpting procedures is compression garments postsurgically.  This can actually be transformed to patients with or without breast implants. Compression is an essential component of a bra, especially when trying to prevent sagginess of the breasts. Having placed over 15,000 implants so far in my career, it is evident that women who do not wear bras and have seen me during consultation and have children and have breast fed have significantly saggier breasts with increased skin laxity.  Those who have worn bras and have not breast fed have had actually better shaped breasts with less droop or ptosis.  Compression bras are vital for sports, athletics, postsurgical, as a maternity bra and during sleeping at night.  The compression bra must be comfortable and therefore we have soft elastic inner banding which prevents any creases or pain along the chest wall. The zipper is a 4.5 zipper, strongly reinforced, which will allow easy zipping with a secondary triple clip system, referred to as a clip, clip and zip system, which is easy to place and put on and just as easy to take off.

The Dr. Linder Bra is extraordinarily useful as a sports bra and can be used for aerobic, anaerobic and body building.  It allows compression during rigorous activities which may prevent breast movement, irritation, pain and increased skin laxity and sagginess.

Maternity Bra

Maternity Bra

Women as they proceed through nine months of pregnancy see significant changes in breast size and shape, as well as skin laxity.  A compressive and comfortable bra is a must for all pregnant women.  My patients postsurgically are instructed to wear the Dr. Linder Bra to sleep for the future in order to prevent skin laxity and gravitational descent.  Important aspects of the Dr. Linder Bra for pregnant women include the bidirectional stretch both vertically and transversely which allows compression; however, allows the breasts to grow within the bra without causing too much compression.  The adjustable clips design (which is patent pending) on the side is vital for nine months of pregnancy.  The clips have three different positions which can allow the bra to be taken in or out up to 1.5 inches during the pregnancy cycle.  During swelling and edema and during the different hormonal cycles of the month, related to estrogen and progesterone levels, the breasts will grow and the swelling along the sides of the chest can be taken in or out accordingly.

Beauty Bra

Sleeping/Beauty Bra

Having placed over 15,000 implants in the last 12 years, I have instructed all of my patients that it is absolutely essential to wear a compressive bra to sleep.  Not only during the postoperative period, but also in the future in order to prevent gravitational descent to the breasts which could lead to sagginess, skin laxity and the need for a breast lift.  Patients who have breast implants should have compression sleep bras.  Many of the bras that I have seen do not have enough compression and do not hold the implants and breasts in place, which may lead to lateral malposition of the implants, in other words, spreading of the breast implants outward, which may reduce cleavage and cause the skin to sag.  Wearing a nice compressive comfortable bra at night during sleep not only is comfortable for women’s sleep habits, but also will allow the breast implants to maintain their position and prevent laxity.

Women with significant size breasts, without breast implants, should also have sleep and beauty bras as well.  Native soft, natural breast tissue will also fall and sagginess with gravitational descent can occur similar to those who have saline or silicone implants.  It is a simple fact that gravity affects all aspect of the body and that wearing compressive garments reduces skin laxity and sagginess.  The Dr. Linder Bra is an extraordinarily natural comfortable bra that has bidirectional stretch both transversely and vertically.  The fabric has a predominant component of cotton with a secondary component of spandex and nylon which allows for the compression.  Adjustable straps on the side are very useful for adjusting the chest compression as necessary.

Post-Surgical Bra

Post-Surgical Bra

The Dr. Linder Bra is the ultimate bra for many reasons.  It was designed by a Board Certified Beverly Hills Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr. Stuart A. Linder.  The bra specifically allows for compression and firm support of the breasts.  This is extraordinarily useful in maintaining the shape of the breasts throughout the day, including work, working out, as well as at night during sleep.  I instruct all my patients who have had breast surgery to wear a compressive bra at night during sleep in order to maintain the shape of the breasts and reduce skin laxity from gravitational descent.  The Dr. Linder Bra specifically has bidirectional stretch, high content cotton fiber, with up to 20% of nylon and Spandex mixture to allow for firm, tight support.  The adjustable clips on the side allow for a perfect fit.  The new reinforced zipper also allows for easy closure with a new double clip and zipper system.  Compression of the breasts is vital for women both with and without breast implants.  Gravitational descent will cause skin laxity.  Supporting a significant size breast without an underwire bra during the day or sports bra, such as the Dr. Linder Bra, during workout and sleep, may lead to increased skin laxity and the requirement for a breast lift.
